Why the bus is worse than the walk
A bus is a glass box on wheels. Large windows let sunlight pour in, and the greenhouse effect traps that heat inside — so the sunny side of a packed bus can feel far hotter than the street you just left. Sitting in direct sun for a long ride is not just uncomfortable: it means glare, UV exposure, and arriving sticky and drained.
